Florida Presbyterian Nursing and Rehab, Lakeland’s newest short-term nursing and rehabilitation center, will host a special ribbon cutting ceremony and open house on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 4 pm – 6 pm. This event is open to the public and will take place at 519 W. Highland Street, on the corner of S. Lakeside Avenue. Several dignitaries are scheduled to be in attendance, including Mayor Howard Wiggs, Lakeland Chamber members, area healthcare professionals and board members of Florida Presbyterian Homes. Light refreshments will be served.
During the open house, attendees will enjoy guided tours of our new rehab facility designed as a caring bridge between hospital and home. There’s a state-of-the-art therapy gym, private rooms with in-room bathrooms and showers, and several modern amenities and special touches. Guests will meet our team of professionals and learn more about Florida Presbyterian’s warm, family-oriented environment where a speedy recovery, improved function and a smooth transition home are the primary goals.
Florida Presbyterian Nursing and Rehab is open for all adults in this community, as well as for our residents who reside here at Florida Presbyterian Homes.
