At Florida Presbyterian Homes, we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities that enrich the lives of our residents. Volunteering can be a great way to use your unique talents to have a positive impact on others. Whether you want to volunteer regularly or work on-call as needed, you can be a part of our community by assisting with special events and activities, or helping with resident and staff services. Giving your time is easy and can really make a difference in many lives – including your own.

Resident Involvement

Volunteering plays a big role in the life of residents, and it gives our residents the chance to use their skills to give back to the community. Many find volunteering personally gratifying, and it can help you make new friends and create opportunities for fun. In addition to volunteering at the campus VOLShop or in the Health Center, opportunities are also available at local museums, schools, hospitals, Volunteers in Medicine, Lighthouse Ministries, Salvation Army and Talbot House. Collectively, our residents volunteer over 30,000 hours per year.
