Resident Involvement

Volunteering plays a big role in the life of residents, and it gives our residents the chance to use their skills to give back to the community. Many find volunteering personally gratifying, and it can help you make new friends and create opportunities for fun. In addition to volunteering at on campus at the VOLShop or in the Health Center, opportunities are also available at local museums, schools, hospitals, Volunteers in Medicine, Lighthouse Ministries, Salvation Army and Talbot House. Collectively, our residents volunteer over 30,000 hours per year.
