Board of Directors
Members of Florida Presbyterian Homes’ governing body, its Board of Directors, are nominated and then elected to an initial three-year term. Members may be reelected for two subsequent three-year terms, but then must rotate off the board for a minimum of one year.
Our Board of Directors:
- Determines our mission and purpose, and articulates our goals
- Selects the executive director
- Supports and evaluates the executive director
- Ensures that we plan effectively
- Monitors and strengthens our programs and services
- Ensures adequate financial resources
- Provides proper financial oversight
- Builds a better board
- Ensures legal and ethical integrity
- Represents us in the community
